Newborn photographer – Roberta Quammie

Bookings: It is highly recommended to book a session while you are pregnant. We’ll reserve a date and time around the due date and later book a session once the baby has arrived! In order to keep and give our highest level of service we’ll keep our sessions to a minimum in order to accommodate you. If you are new to our website or Roro’s Photography we’ll do our very best to fit you in; however priority is given to those who previously reserved bookings.

Newborns are preferably photographed within the first 14 days (Ideally 5 to 10 days old). After 14 days, the newborns become more difficult to pose and grow restless a lot more easily.

If 14 days have passed, no worries, our highly trained photographers will still capture every sparkling beautiful moment of the newborn by adjusting to their needs!

Sessions: The sessions will last about 2-3 hours. Please have a bottle of formula or breast milk in hand in order to make the process much smoother and easier. We want this to be a pleasant and smooth session for everyone!

Of course, safety is Roro’s number one priority when dealing with newborns. We ensure that the baby is both comfortable and safe while the session is in progress. Roro’s Photography provides all backdrops and props and if you wish to implement something else, we’d be more than delighted to include it in the photos!

You’ll be able to select your favourite photos and even download them after final editing within 1-2 week turnaround time.

In-Home session: We are more than delighted to provide a photo session for your newborn at the comfort of your own residence. All props, backgrounds, and equipment will be brought with us to your residence so you’ll feel like you’re in a studio. Please be advised that our photographers will need a spacious and warm room in order to make the photoshoot process more easier. An additional $100 travel/setup fee will be added to the price.

A unique and delicate stage in a woman’s life, maternity is one of the most special life milestones. Beauty and love of the mothers to be is spectacular and every day has a special meaning to it. To help commemorate this important moment, we have created a unique photography experience dedicated entirely to creating a timeless impression of this short and special moment of your and your child’s life.

The best time to book a session is within the 30th-36th week. This is when the tummy looks most beautiful before you start to feel uncomfortable. However, this all depends on the woman’s condition. Everybody’s situation is different from one another.

• We offer both in and outdoor photo sessions.

• Maternity sessions last about 1-3 hours.

• It'll be ideal to bring at least 1-3 outfits for more variety. Please wear solid colours, nothing too baggy and something with a slight stretch.

• Bring an ultrasound picture, baby toys, shoes and clothes plus other cute stuff.

• Also, please apply make up prior to the session for better results.

• Once the session is done and you select your favourites, the photos will be ready in 7 days.

By using our services, you agree to these terms:

• We reserve the right to use chosen photographs in any form such as, but not limited to, the use in advertising, reproduction, and copyright once given permission by the client.

• It is prohibited to use your cell phone camera or any other camera during the photo session.

• It is the client's responsibility to download, store and protect photographs from losing after 90 days from the date they have been sent to the client. After 1 year we don’t guarantee availability of your pictures. Additional fee of $25 applied for resending the pictures in case we still have them.
